The 90th anniversary of the Bugatti Type 57 is on point as a class at the Cartier Style et Luxe during Goodwood Festival of Speed (11-14 July), but dedicating a class of the upmarket concours to Vintage Tractors may take a few people by surprise.
Being Goodwood, of course, only the right crowd of agricultural vehicles will be on display, including Porsche AP18 and Lamborghini 2R.
The Bugattis are expected to feature a range of different body styles including bodywork by Corsica, Figoni and Atalante.
There will be five more classes in the Style et Luxe including fun beach cars, focusing on the the cute and colourful Meyers Manx in sharp relief to a selection of the most stately and elegant vintage Rolls-Royce, the Silver Ghost.
Two of the classes will celebrate the genius of the late Marcello Gandini and concours entrants include a Lamborghini Miura, Renault 5 Turbo, Citroen BX, Maserati Khamsin and Alfa Romeo Montreal. The 25th anniversary of the Pagani Zonda will also be honoured with a display of a selection of the creations of Horacio Pagani.
